Bellamy Young

Young started her profession as an actor in the theater. In 1997, Young made her Broadway debut as Mary in the first cast of The Life. She appeared Off Broadway as a character in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we Let's Roll (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). She first appeared on television in 1995 with regular appearances on the character Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap production Another World. In addition, she guest-starred on Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two different characters. In 1999, she made her film debut with a small character in the crime-drama Black and White and later she co-starred in various independent films. At the start of 2000, she began appearing in guest-starring in a variety of television dramas and comedies, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. From 2000 to 2011, Young was a regular guest on more than 30 appearances on television shows. Young was among the actors who appeared regularly on Peacemakers the USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. Following nine episodes of the season, the show ended up being cancelled. She was a Deputy Dist. on the Lifetime drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs, as Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06), ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) as well as CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
