Ellie Goulding
Ellie's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) is an English singer-songwriter from England. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style swiftly brought her to the top of the charts when she drew the attention of the general public in the year 2010. She was able to achieve this feat with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary artist with her singing voice that is soprano and the ability of creating songs that are captivating and empathetic. Her style is similar with Kate Bush, Imogen Heap as well as other artists with similar styles. She ultimately signed a major-label deal to Polydor Records and began making plans to release her debut album.
